Can 16 year old work behind pub bar and serve alcohol?
Yes... The Licensing Act now states that at the age of 14 you can legally do any kitchen work in a bar/pub and with supervision of the manager/ landlord of the pub you can legally serve alcohol. And If a family member owns the bar you can legally work their with another bartender
minors cannot posses alcohol, most restaurants serve alcohol, waiters carry it, 14 year olds cannot, simple as that. although some restaurants get waiter helpers who carry out food and occasionally taking orders they can do all but carry the alcohol... so find somewhere that doesnt serve alcohol. goodluck.
You have to be 21 to pour as a bartender or serve as a cocktail waitress. You can be 18 and serve if you are working in an area primarily intended to serve food as a waiter/watress and the alcohol is being served with a meal. You can serve alcohol once you are eighteen, but I don't know if anyone under 21 is allowed in a "pub". kamal wrote: i was 19 years old when…
