My doctor at Kaiser prescribed this for me for a middle ear infection. it didn't work. Instead of waiting...I got a referral to an ear nose and throat specialist. This is an arcatic drug and not the drug of choice. It is a very cheap drug. So if you have time to waste, like to be in pain, enjoy having imbalance...agree to take it. If you want to get rid of your middle ear infection...get a different prescription.. and a stronger one. amoxicillin...? possibily..Ill know tomorrow
