Can PS3 games play ps2 games?

The common 2 USB port PS3 Fat and Slim models do not play PS2 games. Only some PS2 titles can be played in early 4 USB port PS3s. None of these models have been produced since August 2008. The Best PS2 Player the 60 GB PS3 stopped production in August 2007. These 4 port models had an overheating problem and could be temporary repaired by reflowing the soldier and are a risky purchase

it depends on what ps3 you have if it is a 40 gig then no but if it is a 60 gig then yes but not all games work on ps3's.
