Yes, Skyrim will run on a MacBook Pro with Windows installed via BootCamp or a virtualization software such as Parallels or VMWare Fusion. Virtualization software, however, means simultaneously running Windows and its programs (such as Skyrim) at the same time as the Mac OS, which may result in poor performance during gameplay.
You can also run it through a Cider wrapper or WineSkin, however, that isn't as easy.
Using BootCamp (included with your Intel-based Mac) for Windows is the easiest method.

I would say Skyrim has better replay ability since you can choose many different ways of playing the game. Skyrim also has thousands of mods to install to fundamentally change how the game is played.
No it does not. It is only on Microsoft OS, Xbox, and Playstation. What you can do though is use boot camp to have windows run on your mac. This is a fairly simply procedure and will enable you to run anything that uses Microsoft, including games.
The elder scrolls online is coming out in december of 2013 for mac and pc. At least 4 years or so befor a sequel to skyrim.
