Sometimes places like dairy queen will hire 13 year olds, where as places like Starbucks may only hire people over 18 to appe…al to a certain group of people, it all depends on the store's target audience, what they pay, the benefits, and just whats legal and what isn't . best bet? just ask the manager if you could be hired (make sure to give them a resume) Aâ¥a 15 year olds should have the same chances as every body else i just don't think that's right actually...im 14 and i live in Boston....im getting mii permit 2morr....as long as ur at least 14 yrs old u can hava working permit u jst have 2 kno where 2 get one...and idk...mii mom said u have 2 b at least 16 2 work at the mall. Unfortunately, none. Simply because stores cannot get insurance for school-age kids to work on their premises. Additionally - if a store sells such items as tobacco or alcohol it is ILLEGAL for you to serve a customer unless you're of the legal age to actually use such substances.
