Yes. In fact, mother rabbits often do eat their kits. They do this when they become frightened thinking that they are putting them back inside their womb to "re-birth" later. Gross, I know! Have had this happen many times with rabbits that I own.

∙ 13y agoNO! they are herbivores... they will never eat another rabbit... however, they will fight until death with other bunnies if they invade their territory!
A doe rabbit WILL eat her babies IF they have died. It is called survival in the wild. Dead babies attract predators, does get rid of them the only way they know how.

∙ 13y agoIt depends on the sex. If the baby is a female, then yes it probably can live with the mother. Otherwise it all depends on the particular rabbits.
