Once a cat/kitten has been declawed there nails will not grow back. However I must include that to have a cat/kitten declawed is one of the most painful things they surgically go threw. The process is mainly done by Fur-Parents to prevent the furbaby from scratching the furniture. This is most seen in Cats that are indoors. However to say at least if the process is done, if the cat(s) should get out it also harder for them to defend there self. Hope this helps coming from a

My cat lost it's claw and it did grow back. I am not sure if it just broke or if it lost it completely, but it is back the way it was.

When you get a cat declawed do they grow back?

AnswerNo. When a cat has been declawed, its claws cannot grow back. That is the whole point of declawing.AnswerThey can actually on occasion grow back (often deformed and misshapen) and then they need additional surgery.AnswerOh my God, how horrible. As if one declawing isn't horrific enough. Who on earth would be so barbaric as to put their cat through two declawings?Just another reason why declawing should be illegal everywhere.
