This would best be anwered by your quick call to the state Fish & Game Commission. Felons are not specifically prohibited from possessing crossbows under the arms statute HOWEVER as a convicted felon if PA prohibits you from possessing ANY 'deadly' weapon you could conceivably be charged.

In the state of Missouri Its perfectly legal to hunt with a black powder rifle during deer season. In all counties
being a former federal fire arms license holder i can say that in the state of Georgia you cannot hunt with any firearm you can hunt with a bow or a crossbow and this is accectipable in most other states
