Why would you want your dog to have a Vasectomy? It would be basically cruel to your dog. He would still have the desire to breed with females in heat & follow them all over the place. Very frustrating for the dog. It is best to just neuter your dog, that way you cut down the risks of prostate cancer & many other types of cancer that affect intact male dogs plus there is no desire to breed or stray off looking for females in heat.
