It depends on what you mean by "repaired." If you mean take the window motor apart and repair it, the answer is probably yes, but why? The effort and expense would far outweigh, just replacing the unit. If you just mean can a power window be fixed? Then the answer is yes. You need to find out what went bad, the motor, cable, or track assembly, and replace it.
You cannot override the driver's side power window. What would be the purpose of overriding that window and locking it out? There will always be a driver and that driver will always want to control that window. Unless you are asking how to make the window go up and down manually. Again you cannot accomplish that as it is an electric power window which can only be controlled from the P/W switch. If it is not working then it will have to be repaired.
you have to replace the central switch cluster in whole. cant be repaired individually.
wich is the fuse # for driver side power window on 99 expedition
I would check the switches first then check the window motor for passengers side.
check to see if the window switch of the driver's side is getting power, if you are getting power to the switch and the switch is sending power out to the motor but the motor is not responding the motor needs to be replaced
Replacing 2002 Dodge power window motor driver side
where is the fuses for the power windows
1999 Pontiac motana mini van driver window will roll down but will not roll up ??????
The most likely reason is that the child guard switch on the driver's side is in the "on" position.
window make a noise, but won't roll down
remove door panel, install new window
If the passenger side works fine and there is no power at the driver side motor, I would suspect the switch. A weak motor will overheat the switch causing it to melt inside where the contacts are.
