yes, pit bulls in my opinion could easily kill a fox depending on the size of the fox and the size of your dog. my pit bull has come face to face with foxes on walks around the woods. and my dog will chase the fox until it finds its hole where my dog can't get it. but i have no concern if the fox would stand its ground. pit bulls were bred to fight BULLS they have instinct to kill and a strong prey drive yet alone massive jaw muscles that are supplemented by muscles down their neck and shoulders as well as around the skull. however.. i also know that if i pit bull grabs onto something that it wants, it will not let it go. but this IS NOT because they have "locking jaws" if pit bulls had locking jaws they would be considered a different species than dogs so do not be fooled by this.
well, yeah a bloodhound is like a 110 lb dog that hunts rabbits, squirrels, but a bloodhound can kill a coyote because it's larger then the coyote, but if a bloodhound runs after the coyote and it catch's the coyote the bloodhound will kill it.
