Don't use wheels! It will damage your guinea pigs spine and this can lead to death. Instead, when it is warm outside, put your guinea pig on the ground and put it in something like an outdoor rabbit pen. Make sure that the ground isn't covered by something so that you don't have to clean the poop off of it. They will love this because they also can eat the grass. An upside down cage (without top) or an upside-down laundry basket work well too.
It would be good if you had one because
gerbils need to exercise so they won't
become lazy and do nothing but you can
use a ball the run in but I recommend you
having one
No! Anything that hamsters use guinea pigs can't use. Unlike hamsters, guinea pigs do not have flexible spines. There spines can brake. And they are wayyy to big for a wheel. Pls do not give anything to your guinea pig that may harm them. Hope this helped!
For exercise, guinea pigs should be given plenty of space and rocks to climb on. This keeps them fit, encourages their natural curiosity, and helps keeping their toe nails in check.
No they can't because there is something in there backs that will make them cause amount of bad pains which some can lead to death. As well as Guinea Pig balls.
No, it will break its back if it does.
No, they do not use them.
No guinea pigs cannot there wouldn't be enough space and guinea pigs aren't supposed to use exercise wheels that are usely in hampster cages (because they can easily hurt themselves).
We have has guinea pigs for years and we give them salt wheels, all animals need some salt and they only eat vegetable and pellets which aren't high in salt content. So yes, guinea pigs can have salt wheels.
Guineas cannot use wheels or balls because they are dangerous for their backs.
salt wheels give guinea pigs some of the minerals they need but cant get yeah it is suitable for them but most of the time they don't eat it and when you clean out their cage you could axidently through it away with the other poo
YES!Ofcourse they do that's why they have wheels to run in another person: no, they run in the wheels to act cute
Yes, there are clothes available for your guinea pig; however, I do not advise you use them, it is uncomfortable for the guinea pigs to wear them.
only if guinea pigs are considered ''critters''
Be together, eat each others food, use exercise wheels or balls, be left outside alone (if it's dark but also in the day for guinea pigs), be put in a pet shop cage, eat alfafa hay if they are not mature or pregnant etc
shampoo
You can buy them one of those wheels that you put in the cage or a ball you put the guinea pig in and it runs around in the house. Ok first of all please do NOT buy a ball. Guinea pigs do not have the spine that a hamster has a ball could injure your guinea pig. Guineas need an hour of exercise daily set up a room for your pigs to run around in or teach them to go up and down the step.
Guinea pigs are fine with towels, it doesn't hurt or annoy them in any way. Guinea pigs love soft materials so you should use them especially when cuddling them!
