Don't use wheels! It will damage your guinea pigs spine and this can lead to death. Instead, when it is warm outside, put your guinea pig on the ground and put it in something like an outdoor rabbit pen. Make sure that the ground isn't covered by something so that you don't have to clean the poop off of it. They will love this because they also can eat the grass. An upside down cage (without top) or an upside-down laundry basket work well too.

∙ 11y agoNo! Anything that hamsters use guinea pigs can't use. Unlike hamsters, guinea pigs do not have flexible spines. There spines can brake. And they are wayyy to big for a wheel. Pls do not give anything to your guinea pig that may harm them. Hope this helped!
For exercise, guinea pigs should be given plenty of space and rocks to climb on. This keeps them fit, encourages their natural curiosity, and helps keeping their toe nails in check.

You can buy them one of those wheels that you put in the cage or a ball you put the guinea pig in and it runs around in the house. Ok first of all please do NOT buy a ball. Guinea pigs do not have the spine that a hamster has a ball could injure your guinea pig. Guineas need an hour of exercise daily set up a room for your pigs to run around in or teach them to go up and down the step.
