Yes. They are pack animals and are very sociable. I am going to get my guinea pig a friend as she is getting lonely. Guinea pigs need lots of company from a partner. Note: Two boars may not get on that well so I would recommend two sows or a neutered boar and a sow.

it depends the pet doesn't need a friend but it can help so the pet doesn't feel like it is being watched. if the pet doesn't have a friend it will need lots of human interaction either way the guinea pig will need human interaction to be manageable and playfully Do not try to introduce the pig to another pig within 30 Min's of being in its cage when you get home. wait a couple days before you introduce the pigs make sure the pigs have space to hide and play so they don't get bored of another which may lead to fighting.

Yes, but it depends on your guinea pig if it is dominant over the other guinea pig when you introduce them and you want to keep the other guinea pig you should have a very large cage so there wont be too many fights. When you have a male and a female together you should neuter the male before the female becomes pregnant. Don't put the males to live with each other. They will fight over dominance.

Yes but be careful! If a guinea pig isn't mated before I think 2 bones start moving together and close up so if you don't mate your female before that happens then she won't be able to have babies. But if you do before it closes then you don't have to worry about it anymore. You may want to consider looking up the bone thing but I think I have the general idea.

It's better for guinea pigs to live in pairs if the owner has a busy lifestyle and can't supply the attention and companionship it needs to thrive.
