For the last two years SOME labs have been testing for synthetic urine. When you get caught, they usually have you come in the next day to retest. So it depends on the lab. If it is just a simple 5 panel test that they dip the stick into on the spot, you won't get caught, but if they send it out to a lab, there is a chance they will discover that it is synthetic.

∙ 14y agoWell, I sure hope not. Just yesterday I used my friends urine for a pre-enployment drug screening, hoping It'd work, until I read something about how the testing labs can tell if the pee is more than 18 hours old. Maybe they wont notice?
Yes, there are ways of telling. Whether they actually test for it is another matter. Note if you use someone else's urine for a test, you are violating the rules of employment and can be fired immediately. Not a good way to start a relationship with a new employer.Wiki User
∙ 14y agoYes. There are noticeable changes to the physical appearance and chemical changes. Why not collect some urine in a bottle and store in cold room for period and note any changes afterwards.
