My ladybug I found was dormant and slowly crawling and I thought I would offer it a dot of water out of the tap (which I don’t drink, afterthought πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ) and I put a little piece of celery leaf out. The wings are out but he seems lifeless 🐞

Yes, lady bugs can have cucumber and in fact many other vegetables. I have lady bugs inside the glass area that I keep my plants in to keep the pests down, and I have tried them on many things. They do not seem too like the veggies as much as fruits though. A ladybug could possibly eat grass if it wanted to, but it won't, and it will only eat aphids. It can eat grass, but it won't.
