Different species of lorikeets usually get along together well.
However, this does not take into account individual temperaments of the birds.
Yes they can as long as they are properly introduced and get along. I wouldn't put them in the same cage together right away. Talk to a pet shop about the best method or maybe even a vet.
No they would fight.
Yes but feed separately.
I have a male rainbow lorikeet and a male cocktail for about 2 years, sometime i put them out their cage, they do have own cage, they grooming each other feathers seem get well together, but suddenly one day morning lorikeet attack cocktail and kill him, when i find out it was too late!
Well what you have to do is... 1. if you have one all ready then you need to get him/her a partner then slowly introduce them to each other till they are friendly then you have to wait... and wait and wait and wait cause you cant really make them can you! 2. if you all ready have two in the same cage together (different genders) then i guess you just wait. Hint:rainbow lorikeets are not very good parents the first time... or come to think of it any time!!!
You can't. Both male and female rainbow lorikeets are identical, with deep blue heads and stomachs, orange and yellow coloured breasts, and green wings, back and tail. A zoologist could tell by the spacing of the pelvic bones - females' would be wider. But there is nothing in their physical appearance to help differentiate between the sexes.
no --------------- Yes. Just in the same way female chickens lay eggs regularly, other birds lay eggs when they ovulate regularly, lorikeets included.
no
No, they don't have to be the same age to live together.
Male and female raccoons do not live together unless the male is a young offspring of the female.
Yes they do.
pandas don't live together. after mating season, the male leaves the female
it is called a Rainbow Agama
The male and female sperm whales live apart, the females group together with other females and their to make a pod. A pod is about 30 whales. But killer whales stay together with their young and stay together their whole live.
