what could cause my hands and feet and arms and bottom of my legs to itch at night and morning?
Subluxation could be the cause. It is very important that you visit a Chiropractor to assess the problem. You can get x-rays and a detailed physical of your nervous system, spine, and overall health. A subluxation is when your spine is misaligned which causes either pinched nerves, damaged nerves, damaged discs, etc. Your nerves are like the life line to your organs. If it is pinched or not allowed to function 100%, then it is like pinching a water hose. You can have pain just about anywhere from a pinched nerve. Everyone can benefit from Chiropractic, especially you at this time.
Pruritus is an itch or a sensation that makes a person want to scratch. Pruritus can cause irritation and be frustrating. If it becomes severe, it can cause sleeplessness, anxiety, and depression. The cause of an itch may be unknown. It is a complex process involving nerves that respond to certain chemicals like histamine that are released in the skin, and the processing of nerve signals in the brain.

An itch is a very slight form of pain from your nerves. There is usually something touching you and your body feels threatened by the contact, and so you itch to remove it from your skin. In bites and stings it's because the nerves are stimulated by the poison/acid/alkali released into the bite. Sometimes you may feel a 'Phantom' or travelling itch, when you can't quite tell where you need to itch. This is caused by random stimulation of the nerve, the cause of which is unknown
