No. A cane corso is much bigger, stronger, heavier, and smarter than a rottweiler when cane corsos have better strengths in fighting. Because an attacking cane corso can do so much damage in killing than an attacking rottweiler, it is most likely that the rottweiler will get terribly hurt.

β 8y agoAs someone who has actually seen this battle take place, a Wolf does not stand a chance. The Cane Corso has so much more power, they launch into the Wolf so hard, and shakes it like a rag, the Wolf just shuts down, and goes limp. But most of the time the Wolf will run when it sees those jaws coming at it, the Cane Corso will run it for miles, and then will turn back unless it can get it cornered, then the Wolf is dead.

That could go either way. Corso bite force 700psi to Rott's 330 and Corso is much faster but Rott is equally as strong. Corso will win if it wants to but could try to stop the fight b4 Rott is ready to stop...this could allow Rott to trump the Corso.

One on One , yes a cane corso would kill a wolf. But most wolfs travel in a pack. So then no , a cane corso would not have a chance.

Seriously, silver-back gorillas will fight and kill any animals that comes to disturb them. A silverback gorilla will get angry and fight if the cane corso came to attack with anger. The silver-back gorilla, which is much smarter and much larger, has super tough skin to protect itself from the cane corso's bite. In addition, if a silverback gorilla can kill wild dogs, it has no problem with the cane corso.

As history teaches the APBT was bred just for the purpose of fighting and is considered the apex fighting breed. The Cane Corso is more of a guard dog. If it came down to a fight between the two, if the game-bred APBT could survive the first ten minutes of the more powerful Corso, it would most definitely win as they're bred to fight for hours on end while the Corso would inevitably give out fairly quickly due to its heavy body and lack of tenacity when compared to the smaller terrier. I would give the APBT a 75% chance at being the victor. No I'm not in to dog fighting but am familiar with both breeds.

Not to condone fighting but unless a corso is sick or injured a boxer will never beat a corso. I have both and even playing, my corso knocks my boxer around like a toy. Jaw strength on the corso is 3x greater. But the Boxer is a fantastic breed. However door to door sales people are more intimidated by my boxer. The black mask I guess.
