They could kill a cub but would never risk attacking a healthy adult. One swipe can crack a mooses skull imagine what it would do to a wolf ;)
^ wrong, if you were talking about a fully grown grizzly bear than perhaps yes, the answer above would be right, but any other type of bear would stand little chance against a pack of hunting wolfs such as the grey wolf. the black bear for instance could be killed by a lone wolf, if the wolf made a clean sneak attack while the bear was off guard. The wolfs agility vs the bears is an obvious win for the wolf, as it is able to jump about much more than the bear.
Yes, it would be easy for a pack of wolves to take down a bear no matter what the size, weight, or genus of the bear. Especially California bears that are known to be weak and small in size. If you ever come across a pack do not get in their way, do not challenge them in any games, and if you are a bear....watch out.
Yes. A pack of wolves could kill a bear if it gets in their territory and the wolves would bite down the bear to death.
Wolves can and do eat bear cubs but avoid encounters with adults.
yes but a bear whuld win
yes tha can
bear is to cub as deer is to?
the wolf pack kill laurant
no
No. Wolverines prefer to scavenge carcasses made by a bear or a wolf pack, and will fiercely defend their food against large bears or a pack of wolves. The will not actively hunt and kill a bear, small or not.
I would win
If a pack of wolves can kill a grizzly then it can kill a polar bear!!!
Yes, but bears only kill wolves if it is persistent on protecting its carcass and the wolf is harassing the bear. Bears will also attempt to kill or maim a wolf if it is threatening the life of a sow's cubs. Black bears are larger and stronger than a wolf is, which is enough to enable such a beast (the bear) to kill a wolf.
I don't think there are any animals -except humans- who'll actually attack a wolf pack in the first place, unless that animal be rabid. And even then, a whole wolf pack can take down a grizzly bear even, and since bears are normally solitary creatures, I doubt a bear would stand a chance. However, moose, -and other hooved animals- although they are prey, their kicks can kill a wolf, and if a heard happens to stampeded where the wolves are, they just might kill off the pack. Yeah, I don't think any animal, except a human, can kill a pack of wolves, and I highly doubt any animal would bother attacking wolves in the first place.
In a wolf pack whaen a wolf inprintes a human no one in the pack or any other pack can harm or kill the human
it means that they need the help of others like a wolf pack
Yes, almost definitely. The black bear's sheer size and strength would overpower a lone wolf, and its canines would easily tear its oesophagus out. However, if it were a pack of wolves then the pack would definitely conquer the bear. PS. "Wolf".
A very large pack of wolves could kill a single Grizzly bear
