Yes, an Airedale can be left alone for a few hours. I have an Airedale and when we first got her she was a little weary about being left for part of the day but we would give her toys and treats and now she can be left no problem. Just be sure to leave him/her in a crate the first time you leave and leave for only a short while because you dont know how the animal will react.

∙ 12y agoMine certainly is! While he does have a tendancy to beg for tablescraps and misbehave sometimes, what dogs don't? If properly trained, they are wonderful companions and great with kids, too.
