No. There are AK variants which are chambered for the 5.56 cartridge (such as the AK-101, variants of the Rk. 62/76 and Rk. 95, the Zastava M-21, etc.), but the AK-47 (as well as the AKM, which is often mistakenly referred to as an AK-47) fire the 7.62x39 cartridge.
no AK-47 is chambered for 7.62x39mm..... just AK-101 and AK-102 can fire with M-16 round (5.56x45mm)
yes the ak74 fires a 5.56x45 round the ak47 fires a 7.62x39 round
7.62 caliber
It has a thirty round magizine or a 100 round drum
600
556 millimeters is 55.6 centimeters.
Its going to depend on the capacity of the magazine that you are using which range from 5 round to big 75 +? round drums
The ak74 is deffinetaly the better choice better rate of fire and better accuracy. However 1 bullet of the ak47 does more damage than 1 bullet of the ak74. So ak47 is mainly for hitpoints and ak 74 is better for fire rate and accuracy.
No. The AK-47 is only chambered in 7.62x39mm. A 5.56x45mm round would not fit in its chamber. However, the modernized AK-101 is chambered in 5.56mm.
(rapid fire) AK47 (single shot) FAL
Proven to be stronger than v ak47 so SERIOUSLY strong good fire rate aswell if better with 3 round burst if u getthis reply III III III III III III Thats da fire rate
From what i no about ak47's, no. You can get an ak that will shot a .223 round though. <><><><><><><> The AK47 is caliber 7.62x39. The .308 is a much longer (about a half inch longer), more powerful cartridge, with a heavier bullet, and is too long to cycle through the AK action.
