I wouldn't think that the Lexapro would screw up the test results themselves, however Lexapro really screws up your menstrual cycle. You can skip periods, only have spotting, etc.

I would think the bigger issue is your getting pregnant while taking something like Lexapro. You really need to talk to your Dr. about that. Lexapro is not the "harmless drug" it was originaly thought to be. I speak from experience and am finally off of this med!

AnswerThere shouldn't be any effects on a home pregnancy test caused by lexapro, and I never had any problems with it effecting my cycle. It isn't perfect, and I also have since gone off it.

Maybe. I am on Prozac and had 2 confirmed pregnancy tests, then got my period. Also my cousin was on it (a boy) and took a test for a laugh and it came up positive although I stress this was about 10 years ago.
