When a jellyfish stings you it releases a venom that spreads throught the body giving the victim terrable pain or sometimes death; depends on what the victim is and the jellyfishes type and size. the jelly fish actually releases the venom when it senses a certain chemical. one of those chemicals are in the human skin.

There isn't a jellyfish that doesn't sting. But, the top part of a jellyfish is soft and squishy. And, that part won't sting you. The Aurelia will not hurt you.
