It is a complicated job in as much as you have to know wire sizes, ampacity of wires and proper electrical workmanship. The utility has to be disconnected and re connected. Such a project should be left to a licensed electrical contractor to take out the proper permits and call for proper inspections. By taking this route it will leave you confident that if any mishaps happen to the installation down the road your insurance company will be behind you 100%.

Any tansfercase motor is to switch from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive. It is located behide the transfer case and it has 6-7 wire plug. Only automatic push button 4 wheel drive trucks have the transfer case motor.

Disconnect - side of battery Remove door switch (Either pry out or unscrew) Remove wire at rear of switch Re-route wire through kick panel to dash switch (wire is Hot Ground switched circuit) Make sure new switch is grounded one side of switch to wire - other side to ground
I use a brake light switch on the hydraulic clutch line.If you are using an automatic most have one on the tranny ,if not they are easy to put on an automatic shifter (some shifters have one too). in the case of a mechanical linkage standard you can build a bracket to put a switch on the clutch pedal.Switch must be normally open and then you run the ignition start wire through your switch and you are done
