It is hard to dispell the thought that Earth has the only living organisms in the entire universe. There is no concrete evidence of other lifeforms outside of Earth, but one has to think there has to be somewhere in areas we haven't even looked at with a telescope yet!
We may one day prove that there is life beyond earth, and possibly even beyond our solar system. But we will never be able to prove that there is no life beyond earth.

You can use Drake's equation to determine for yourself however the equation itself is based on your own interpretations
The Drake equation states that: N=R*x Fp x ne x fe x fi x fc x L
where: N is the number of civilizations in our galaxy with which communication might be possible;
and R* is the average rate of star formation per year in our galaxy fp is the fraction of those stars that have planets ne is the average number of planets that can potentially support life per star that has planets fâ„“ is the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop life at some point fi is the fraction of the above that actually go on to develop intelligent life fc is the fraction of civilizations that develop a technology that releases detectable signs of their existence into space L is the length of time such civilizations release detectable signals into space

I hope this helps
There billions and billions and billions and bllions and billions of planets and stuff but anyway today scientist are trying to explore new places in the univers.The ouly living planet today is are home Earth.However Mars use to have water but somehow have been.....well dissapered i guess.So theres no possible answer yet.All we know today is that there's galeys that hold planets.If scientist find away to take pictures of inside in each galexy then the question is reaveld.But as i sayed we dont have the powerful tecnoligy to do that.....YET.People are discovering new things everyday...
