Bananas can only produce small amounts of electricity. I would recommend using a citrus fruit such as a lemon, lime, or orange if you are doing a science experiment because they are acidic which makes them better at producing electricity. Just look at batteries. They make electricity because they have battery acid in them which has chemical potential energy which can be converted into electrical energy and from electrical energy into all kinds of energy such as light and thermal energy. Technically any type of foods Chemical Potential Energy can be converted into electricity. Chemical potential energy that comes from food is called calories. But as I said before citrus fruits are the best for these types of projects. However if you are just looking this up for a paper and you don't need a specific number just put that they produce very little electricity.

Yes but bananas are not used widely in electrical wiring because they tend to go rotten in a short time. Also the resistance is more than copper wire.
