Betta fish are naturally carnivores. They don't eat plants in the wild (this is why bettas in jars are so bad). If it will eat it, however, It shouldn't be bad for it.
No Bettas are Insectivorous.
I went to the beach and collected plants for my betta fish, but are those plants okay for the betta fish?
no bettas are Freshwater Fish so mixing things with freshwater that usually lives in saltwater might be disturbing (trust me i tried) also bettas are carnivourus so i doubt theyd eat it
Yes, bettas appreciate fake (or even better, real plants) to hide in. This will lower stress and increase their interest in their surroundings. However, when buying fake plants, look for the silk ones first as plastic plants are more risky since they are harder and more likely to rip your betta's fins, leading into a whole spiel of infections which could lead up to other disease.
However, if you do plan on getting plastic plants, test it but gently by using the 'pantyhose test': If a plastic plant will snag a pair of pantyhose when rubbed against it, then it will damage your betta's fins. Be safe and buy silk plants instead.
Bettas eat insects and water born crustacea etc. They do not eat plants. My male Betta ate a crustacea, it was a ghost shrimp it ate its insides and left the shell, but for some reason he only eats at night.
yeah of course!! but it depends sometimes on the fish!! if you see it trying to eat it then maybe take it out for a while but the maybe after a week or so put it back in!!:)
Betta fish do not eat fish.
NO!!!!! They should not eat betta fish...but if your cat has then call a vet, and don't get anymore betta Fish!
I believe you mean Betta fish. No, it should be fine. You can treat you Betta fish by giving them bloodworms!
There is no such thing as an "Ocean Betta".
No
no they do not
I think they just can eat fish food. So, i wouldn't feed you betta fish sweet peas. kk
sharks eat all kinds of fish
When your Betta fish is fasting it means it is not eating, this usually happens after the Betta has bred and it will not eat until all the Betta eggs are hatched.
If the fish is still getting used to it's surroundings, it might not eat. This is normal. Usually if betta fish are comfortable, they will eat as soon as they smell or see the food.
