Yes, cheese is in fact a very good conducter of electricity, but must kept at a temperature of around 0 degrees, due to the fact the electrical current releases thermal radiation and causes the cheese to melt, which effectively increases the resistance of the cheese and therefore decreases the current. cheese has been known to power factories and other powerhouses as an environmentally friendly way of producing electricity. The most effective way of utilising cheese is in a cheese factory itself by recycling unwanted cheese back into the system. However like most things, the cheese degenerates over time, as well as become less pure as it reacts with the materials that the apparatus it is held in.

I recommend Blue cheese and other mouldy cheeses like Stilton as the mould prolongs the life time of the cheese.

It does not conduct electricity

Why does CCl4 does not conduct electricity?

CCl4 does not conduct electricity because it is a nonpolar covalent compound. In a nonpolar covalent bond, electrons are shared equally between atoms, resulting in a lack of charged particles (ions) that can conduct electricity. Additionally, CCl4 does not ionize in water to produce free ions necessary for conducting electrical current.

Does methanol conduct electricity?

No, methanol does not conduct electricity. It does not conduct electricity because it is a non-electrolyte molecule. Sugar also is non-electrolyte, therefore it also does not conduct electricity.

Superconductors can conduct electricity.

Does a banana conduct electricity?

Yes, a banana can conduct electricity. The high water content and minerals in a banana make it a good conductor of electricity. However, it is not as efficient a conductor as metals like copper.

Yes, Pyrite can conduct electricity.

Does bone conduct electricity?

Yes, bones are capable of conducting electricity due to their high mineral content, which allows them to conduct electrical impulses as a form of bioelectricity within the body. This property is used in medical techniques like electrocardiograms and electromyography to measure the electrical activity of the body.
