I pretty much think you can. If your state government allows it. Deer are very cute animals but they probably have to be tamed because if you get a wild one... well it probably wont go over well. Good luck!

Where I agree that you should not attempt to catch a deer for a pet, i belive they are good pets. Dawn, my 6 month old baby deer is a great pet for example.She was abannened by her mother and i found her cold, starving and confused curled in a ball in the forest. she was only about four days old when i found her.i bottle fed her about every 3 hours or when she nuged me to request milk.She is very sweet but she "house-broken" and grew up in a home inviroment.I got lucky to find her, save her life, and find my best friend... although this is not something you come across everyday so very few people hasve pet deer... i`m lucky i agre w/her /\
