Yes. If the sugar level in the urine is high, and if there is yeast present in the urine, the yeast can ferment the sugar to alcohol, especially if the urine sits for a while before the drug test is done. Of course there are a lot of other causes for false positive alcohol or other drug screens, which could occur in a diabetic, but not be related to the Diabetes. Another possibility is that it is actually a true positive, and the person is not being truthful about their drug intake. This is much more common than a false positive.
Well, in the first place you can't tell if you have diabetes just by breathing. You can only take a urine test.

HOWEVER... YES.. Diabetes, or more accurately, 'Diabetic Keto-Acidosis' CAN cause false positives on Breathalyzer tests because nearly ALL Breathalyzers only ASSUME alcohol content, but NONE are accurate enough to tell the difference between actual Alcohol (Ethyl Alcohol) and 70 - 80 other chemicals in the Ethyl/Methyl categories. Acetone is a Ketone that can be found in the blood of somebody with Diabetes, especially if also experiencing high blood sugars. Acetone when exhaled as a Ketone of the Methyl chemical group can and often DOES cause false positive Breathalyzer test results.
No, but drinking will certainly affect your diabetes by disrupting your liver enzymes and the production of glucagon and insulin by the pancreas, making it difficult to control your blood sugar even with insulin injections. It can also lead to pancreatic cancer. Drinking with diabetes is slow suicide.
Oh, big time. For two reasons.
The EtG test can detect alcohol applied to your skin. Diabetics apply a LOT of alcohol to their skins to prepare them for glucose tests and insulin injections.
If your urine sugar is elevated, the yeast that's in all air can ferment it to alcohol.
can diabetics test postive for alcohol if they drank nyquil on a drug test
no, that's just dumb.
No No No No Never
No, diabetes has no effect on blood alcohol content. That depends on what type of test you are referring to... Acetone (or other ketones) in the blood/body, whether because of Diabetes, other illness, or some Diets CAN, and often DOES cause false positive alcohol test results if tested with a Breathalyzer. It may not affect the actual blood alcohol content, but it CAN cause false positive test results... THAT is why the result is called a FALSE positive.
Lol no.
no
raisins
yes
I am told that while under certain circumstances it MAY throw off the results of a urine alcohol test, but the condition will not trigger any false positives for any other type of narcotic or prescription drug.
Yes.
Nope. Gotta be some alcohol involved somewhere. There is practically no such thing as a false positive for alcohol (although there are possible sources other than booze).
Incidental alcohol exposure (alcohol in hand sanitizer, alcohol in mouthwash, alcohol in medicines, etc.) can cause a false positive result for drinking alcohol.
will buspirone cause a false positive for benzodiazipies
None.
False positive for methadone
