Crude oil is not diesel fuel - it is crude oil, and you really do not want to run this through your engine. Pre-EPA2010 diesels and off-highway diesels are able to run off waste oil if so desired, but this requires pre-heating and straining of the oil (and this is oil which is already processed, not crude oil). Aside from that, such a mixture wouldn't be legal for any on-highway applications.
The 2008 turbo diesel gets about 17 MPG on the highway and about 16.8 in mixed driving.
ULSD is the only legal highway-use diesel fuel - you cannot legally use waste oil, crude oil, kerosene, jet fuel, or off-road diesel, mixed or otherwise. As for mixing crude oil with diesel fuel, there's a reason it's crude - it's unfiltered, unstrained, and unprocessed. First, you'll clog the oil filters, and there's a good chance you'll do the same with the oil lines, as well. From there, it depends on if you have a high or low pressure oil delivery system - well, how fast your vehicle gets shut down is dependent on it, rather.. the effect is more the same. Somehow, if you manage to get around the oil filter issue, the particulate matter clogging up and grinding inside the engine, plugging the injectors, etc., then you're still SOL if you have an EPA-2010 (or Euro 5/6) compliant engine with an aftertreatment system, because you'll plug the dosing injector and probably have to replace it, you'll plug the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst face, and you'll plug the Diesel Particulate Filter - plug them bad enough, you'll be replacing those, as well. Just use the fuel you're supposed to use.
Well, that will depend on a few things. What kind of engine is the diesel going through? Is it being mixed with anything else? Are you driving on highway or city?
Crude oil blended with condensate or NGLs
Yes.
YES
by all the gases mixed to gether.
yes it can, mixed with petrol. 5litres diesel to .5l of petrol. mixed it up and ur good to go.
I don't have a clue I'm looking for the answer aswell lol.
Crude oil and hydrocarbonic acid mixed with chocolate
It will not run or if it is mixed with gasoline it will not run correctly and smoke depending on how much diesel was added.
It'll probably be OK. As long as there's enough diesel to properly lubricate the injection pump then no problems.
