sometimes but they are just being protective for it's babies like anyone would be if someone tries to hurt their baby
it might not last for long but the best thing to do is let them rest and don't give them as much fuss as you would usually do

Females will become a bit more timid and untrusting while the male will become much more protective over the pregnant female.
