Yes, they can. I have chickens, ducks and turkeys living together and they do quite well. Sometimes my one, white duck (Donald) wants to 'hump' the female turkey, though. She's not interested in the venture so I feel bad that she's being bugged. My turkey, however, is an older turkey, almost a year now and she's started to lay eggs. I think her maturity brings on Donald's sexual desires, but I don't know this to be a fact. I never see Donald 'humping' his female ducks but often seems to be at the female turkey. Go figure! :o)

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Turkeys shouldn't live with chickens because chickens transmit diseases that are fatal to turkeys, such as blackhead disease (shows no effect on chickens but is fatal to turkeys). Turkeys really shouldn't be within a half mile of chickens. I kept my turkeys only a few hundred feet of my chickens and they did fine.

I have been told that the wild turkeys can but not a lot of the domestic ones. They can pick up ecoli from the chickens and mine seem to have. I had mine in the same pin and at first they seem to do all right but then they started dropping. I've lost 4 out of 10 so far and they just seem to quit eating. I am trying to research more on this but I have lost some turkeys. I have a Holland White that seems to do good but my Bronze Wings are not.
Yes they can I have chickens and ducks and they live together. The one duck that I had even thought it was a chicken. It would be in the pond all happy and then our mother hen would make this awful sound and our duck would hop out of the pond, waddle across the field into the chicken coop and sit on the chicken's eggs.
saddly no they would fight over the best spot to lay there eggs even boys will fight for there lovers protection
Chickens, geese, ducks, peacocks, and turkeys are common birds on farms. There is also a variety of wild birds that might live around farms.
Ducks will pick on baby chicksI bought some baby chickens and ducks (and geese) last year and they all get along. I kept them together when I first brought them home, but after a few weeks, the ducks started picking on the chicken's feathers. So, I separated the chickens from the ducks and when they were all old enough, I let them all run free on my farm. The ducks (and 1 goose) run together and the chickens have their own separation of groups. They all eat together and of course the ducks and the goose eat first, but I put food out in several piles (since I have 31 chickens). I did adopt 1 large duck (who is 2 years old) and was not raised with my babies and he sometimes chases the chickens away from the other ducks, but nothing really bad. I am pleased that my dogs and cats don't bother my chickens and ducks either. I am getting more chickens and ducks this year, so I will let you know if I have further problems. Hope this helps someone. Thanks.
Chickens can live with lots of different birds. They have been known to coexist with pigeons, guinea fowl (there have even been guinea/chicken hybrids), geese (although you have to be careful as large geese can kill chickens), and even emus. It goes without saying that they should have lots of room to run though, so they aren't all together in a crowded space.
No, chickens are sociable animals and they like living in groups.
No because a rabbit is big and a chickens are small
Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys.
I have both white turkeys and chickens of various sorts. they were all raised together and get along quite well. i even have new pullets thatdont seem to bother the turkeys. i have two female turkeys and the only fighting they do is with each other.
Yes a pheasant can live with other species of birds. I have one that lives with several ducks, chickens, peacocks and turkeys. They usually don't get along well with other male pheasants though and will often fight to the death.
yes you can as long as there is no female ducks around :)
ducks are different for chickens because chickens lay eggs and ducks don't+ ducks live in rivers and chicks don't like water

ducks and chickens
Yes, ducks love them. I live in an area where a lot of tomatoes are grown and i go weekly to collect a few crates of ones that don´t reach the supermarket. The ducks are crazy for them. I also have chickens, geese, turkeys, rabbits and guinea pigs, They all love them !!
Yes, ducks can. Make sure that the ducks can be closed in at night.
It's possible, meaning you would have to have a good amount of space for both animals. Ducks love water, so if you have a pond or somewhere they could go play in that would be great. I currently have turkey's living with chickens and peacocks and they all get along great! Once they get their pecking order in place they should be fine.
Define "smart." All animals that live in a pen are smart to some level of degree. These include pigs, cattle, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, mules and donkeys.
You can put them together at anytime, but you should wait until the ducklings are about 9 weeks because by then they are a little bigger and they have less of a chance of getting hurt by the bigger ducks.
