No, Ferrets are strict carnivores - meat eaters. In the wild they would eat whole prey. they cannot digest anything other that meat - mice, chicken, ferret food, etc

The are probably maggots. Just clean the cage and use vinegar water to thoroughly clean it, then let it air dye and then it'll be fine.
yes they eat chicken worms mice rats rabbits and so on..................
The best way is to have your ferret seen by a veterinarian. To the best of my knowledge there is no dewormer that you can buy in the store without a veterinary prescription that is labeled as safe for use on ferrets. Your veterinarian should run a very simple and fairly inexpensive fecal test to determine if your ferret has worms and what kind of worms they are. Then he/she will select a dewormer that is effective against that type of worm and safe for your ferret.

== == Intestinal worms, roundworms are rarely a problem in ferrets. Ferrets may be infected by Giardia lamblia, Cryptosporidium parvum, heartworms (most dangerous) and Coccidiosis (most common) If you think you have seen worms in your ferret's stools, you should definitely bring him/her to a veterinarian ASAP, as ferrets have very sensitive digestive systems. The good news is that if treated, worms are usually readily evacuated. If the worms are a few millimeters to a centimeter and are relatively thin, they may be pin worm. If they appear like a piece of rice, this could be a tape worm. I have never seen hook worm, but have visualized their eggs, and heart worm is found in the ferret's heart and blood system, so it is unlikely that you would have seen these. Hopefully this might give you some idea, but in any of these cases, you will need to get a prescription from your veterinarian to save your ferret if he/she has picked up one of these parasites. Good luck!
No. They will not harm your ferret unless your ferret eats them.
