You should not handle fire belly toads or any other kind of frog, toad, or newt. The oils in your skin can harm the animal. Some toads, frogs, and newts have poison that they will release when they feel threatened. Fire belly toads, and most toads have this poison. It is okay to handle them if you must. Do not handle them alot or for fun. If you must pick them up, make sure your… Read More
yes, they do sleep... at night, obviously.
they eat oranges and mangos
A Firebelied Toad.
I wouldn't. Its not safe... If they're toads you want to mix with the fire belly then make sure they are the same size..keep in mind that if they are different sizes..they can get REALLY mad because either toad would be on the others "property" and if that happens they will kill each other. I wouldn't get into the fire belly toad/frog issue..just DONT mix them. Hope I helped! :)
Because if they don't we wont have fire.
they are brown and the bigger ones are green

You can't "mate" them, but if there is a female and a male together in the same terrarium, when the time is right, the male will squeeze the females belly(He will be on top) and cause the eggs to come out of the female, as he does this, he releases sperm in order to fertilize the eggs.
I have a terrarium with two red eared sliders, and 2 fire bellied toads along with many fish and other aquatic animals. I was wondering the same question. I have had mine living in a 100 gallon tank with my turtles for about a month now and they seem to get along. In fact, today the frogs were hanging onto the shell of my turtle enjoying a nice little ride. As far as I can… Read More
Frogs do not get pregnant. They lay eggs that hatch into tadpoles then grow into frogs.
They are brown or green on their backs, and red and orange on their undersides. They shouldn't be grey at all.

Fowler's toad won't have spots on the belly. American toads will.
Don't put them together. but you can put a fowler's toad with American toads and you can also put dwarf American in there with them.

If they arent same size they could get cage territorial and kill eachother, so make sure they are the same size OR around the same size, but have a big cage..mine, Violot, lives in a fish tank its BIG and she loves it and im getting her a friend frog today..he might be more than a friend though..idk. Hope I helped!!

Im not sure if it is recomended... But i keep my fire belly toad and baby razorback musk turtle and some fish in a 10 gallon for awhile now and they have never had any problems. hope that helped Jill
Yes, as long as the fish and Fire Bellied Toads are around the same size and the toads have a place were they can get out of the water if they want to.
They usually don't, they feed on insects. But a large toad may eat a small fish.
