If I were you I would just replace the fuel filter if it is cloged.
You don't unclog the fuel filter, simply replace the whole canister with a new one.
If the fuel filter is clogged best bet is replace it. There not expensive

unclog a fuel line or unclog your filter and pump? the lines i think you can just disconnect the fuel filter and pump, disconnect all lines from the tank, and blow them out with air. i dont know if there's anything special about a 97 s10 but shouldnt be too hard if you have an air compressor. pumps and filters should be replaced, not repaired.
Disconnect the fuel line at both ends, removed the fuel filter if it is an in-line filter, and blow the line out with an air hose from a compressor.

Your fuel filter will be under the car driverside parallel to your back wheel. follow the gas line from the fuel tank it is very easy to reach it. It will have a bracket you must remove. then loosen the bolts from each side of he filter from the gasline.
