It depends what kind of cardboard. It shouldn't have any dyes in it, so like a toilet paper roll, umm im preety sure no corrogated cardboard either but not 100%..pretty much your thin, basic brown cardboard is fine. Paper bags are god too, as well as newspaper. hope this helps :)
News paper isn't good for guinea pigs because of the ink in it.
some times by accident, i put the newspaper under my guinea pigs shavings in his cage too far up against the sides, and he munches on it. idk if he is supposed to but from what ive seen it does him no harm
guinea pigs are allowed to chew wooden objects or cardboard or paper things. They tend to chew anything in their site so be extra careful they arent near any electrical wires that can harm them!
Yes, Guinea Pigs will chew on anything that is hard to wear down their teeth.
Well, yes, it is good for them to knaw and chew on it to grind there teeth on, but, not to much please!!
Yes it is okay for them to chew on cardboard.
no, infact they love to naw on it, it helps grind down their teeth so they dont get to long.
im no exspert but our gp is 6 and she usauly gets a new box she chews on at least 2 a month.fyi
i have a guinea pig and if you let them eat cardboard just make sure they don't break their teeth
Can a hamster chew on cardboard
Yes they can
Because guinea pigs are rodents, Rodent teeth never stop growing so they need to continually wear them down. don't worry on of my guinea pig dos that to even if though i put something in there for them to chew or nibble on their just trying to stop there teeth from over growing its verry natural
Guinea pigs are made to chew on things. They need wood and stuff in there cage 24/7 so they can chew it and keep their teeth down. If you have a wooden ramp then that is why it is chewing it. They need to chew on wood all the time, and wooden toys need to always be in there cage. Your guinea pig is chewing on the wooden ramp because that is what it is supposed to do. If you do not want it to chew on the ramp, then go get a plastic ramp because they will not chew on that. I have two guinea pigs, so if you need any other questions please feel free to ask. actually my pigs have a plastic ramp and i had to take it away because it was half gone.
Only if it's treated... it helps to keep their teeth trimmed.
Peruvians cook guinea pigs. Guinea pigs are native there and they are called Cuy.
Yes they can
no because medal are hard
Wood cages are not very good because guinea pigs love to chew on wood. If you give your guinea pig a wooden cage, they might chew threw one day. Your pet might get lost!
because the little guinea pig likes the older one
To help them chew hard food.
They eat the regular guinea pig diet. Guinea pig pellets, timothy hay, water, chew treats, and get them a chew block or salt chew also to help wear their teeth down.

it is hard to tell, if your guinea pig is in their hidey house, they will chew less often, but when they are running around or playing they are going to be chewing a lot
because their snout and teeth are not the right shape to chew and eat meat
they will nibble on wood chew toy..... you can get them at your local pet store...
No!, because they will choke and their teeth are too small to chew!
