Yes you can feed your gerbil sultanas, but only as a special treat. You may give them sparingly as this may cause obesity! Other treats can include: biscuits, currents, raisins, bread, boiled potatoes, toast and some breakfast cereals.
But to be on the safe side the first time you give your gerbil a sultana check that it doesn't stick in its teeth or that it doesn't like it.
