If you have a virus on your computer and you want to go on Xbox live would the computer mess with the Xbox?

Not all the time. If your computer contains a virus it will not harm your Xbox360. You should still be careful because certain viruses can affect your router and can harm your abilities to access your Xbox Live account. You can possibly even lose your account completely and may have to try to recover it if you can. I hope this was informative. P.S. I know about this because that has actually happened to me severely. But through time, I got it all working again. If your wondering, I didn't get my Xbox Live account back for several months! I'm just thankful i got it back and everything on it is still intact.
