It mainly depends on the temperament of your Box turtle. My turtle, Todd, is around 10 years old and very very laid back. He doesn't mind sharing his space at all. He's let out of the terrianum for around an hour a day & gets to walk around my house. We have lost him for a day or so. K. First it started with just him, he roamed pretty much all day and was litterbox trained for the most part. Then my dad gave him to my son about 2 years ago & I made him a terrianum. It's in a 100gal aquarium. On the bottom there are rocks big & small and an underwater filter. The entire tank is about 1/3rd full of water. In the water there is a huge placostamus, several feeder fish & my little red eared slider. I have a floating ramp for when she wants out as well as big rocks that have their tips out of the water. Next I took 4 pieces of PVC pipe filled with rock and closed off at the openings. I then took those and attached them to the bottom of a large littler box. Which has a small ladder going up one side to a landing where Todd can jump in and enjoy a swim. There's a ladder in the water coming back up to let him in his house. Inside the litter box the floor is covered in calci sand, and then has a large and medium sized log caves. Then in an area on the side is my little hermit crabs corner. He roams all over the area and Todd doesn't try to eat him. There is also a small toad in the tank that goes from chillin in Todd's areas to down in the water.

I wouldn't recommend this for everyone but Todd is so laid back not to mention he only eats bananas.

The only worry I have is the crab going down and visiting the water. Halo, my little slider.... I know she will eat him!

No because if a frog live in the same habitat the frog would be pinched all over and it will die
