Yes. The more the pumps are on, the better. Circulation in pools is always good whether its the jets, swimmers, or brushing.
I clean my filter and skimmer basket and leave my pump running. I do not cover my pool. I guess it could depend on the weather in your area and if you have a problem with leaves getting in your pool.
No
It can get in through the timing cover. That does car does not have a "timing belt" cover, but it has a "timing chain cover." There is a BIG difference, as a timing belt cover does not have coolant and oil running through it, but a timing chain cover does have both coolant and oil running through it.
It may be leaking at the drain plug located at the bottom of the pump housing. It may be leaking throught the gasket/o-ring that seal the pump cover to the pump housing. The seal may be installed incorrectly. There may be a crack in the pump housing/cover assembly. You may be able to observe water squirting fron the leak by watching the pump while it is running.
After removing the pool cover, it's generally recommended to wait at least 24 hours before running the pool pump. This allows any debris or contaminants to settle to the bottom. Additionally, waiting helps the water temperature stabilize, which can improve the effectiveness of chemicals when you do start the pump. Always check the water clarity and chemistry before running the pump to ensure optimal conditions.
maybe your pump motor is overheating or running super hot and possibly kind of melting it. Or maybe their is air in the hoses and it is being ruined by forceful Well, the pump has been running dry for days. If it has warped the pump lid then it has warped anything within15" of the pump pot - that is the pipes, fittings into the pump, the pump basket, the pump pot that the basket sits in, the pump seal, impeller. All are probably trash.
It's generally not necessary to run the pump when the solar cover is on, as the cover helps retain heat and reduce evaporation. However, running the pump periodically can help circulate water and prevent chemical imbalances. If you're using a solar cover for heating, it's best to remove it when using the pool to allow for proper water circulation and filtration. Always consult your pool's specific guidelines for optimal maintenance.
Probably but that's not very smart to leave your vehicle running and unlocked in an area where it may be stolen. You do have an obligation to mitigate damages to your property.
It is best to leave running. Have a neighbor check for anything unusual.
The fuel pump relay is under the front hood on the Passenger side, inside a cover held on by screws. the fuel pump relay is Blue or light green. The white one is the "main" one. It has to work to make the fuel pump relay to work when starting the car with the key. To test the pump, read diagram on fuel pump relay and use jumper wire to close the switch and if pump works you can hear it running in the trunk at that cover plate.
As long as the engine is running, the fuel pump is running.
If the pump is running the relay is good.
