No it is not, even today the areas spanning the exclusion zone are filled with abnormal radiation rates, which become more and more deadly the closer you come into contact with Chernobyl for any amount of time.

It's not so incredibly dangerous anymore, but still a place you dont want to start a family.
You can take a bus tour trough it, but you cant sleep there. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ That is actually not true. you can live in parts of Chernobyl for about a maximum of four weeks and if you have done some research on this you would know that their is in fact a up and running hotel, bar,and a store. so yes you can live their is it smart? no because you will get more radiation than a person should. i hope this has helped you
