You are referring to space ships, of course. The answer is: In theory, spacecraft could be designed that might approach the speed of light ('way, 'way in the future), but according to our best current understanding of actual (not theoretical) physics, it is impossible to build a spaceship that could equal the speed of light, as it would cease to exist if it did!
speed of light I think well it sounds right:)
No, it is not possible to travel at the speed of light in water. Light travels at a slower speed in water compared to its speed in a vacuum, which is about 299,792 kilometers per second. The speed of light in water is approximately 225,000 kilometers per second.
The speed of light is much greater than the speed of sound.
The speed of light does not have a temperature.
When light with wavelength of 589 nanometers moves through water at the temperature of 20° C, its speed is 75% of the speed of light in vacuum.
Because people did not want to have to travel on huge ships. Also because ships are quite slow so people wanted to get around quicker
they were faster since they were light and not heavy then the old ones
Antony invented the steam rocket train but it was actually a light speed train that would time travle into the future at the speed of light it was also $1.000.000.000.000.99 bilion dolars Canadian to ride
It depends on where you observe from. From either one of the ships (who think they are stationary) time dilation and length contraction will make it seem that the other ship is travelling even closer to the speed of light. From a "stationary" observer who is on neither of the ships it would appear that the two ships are moving away from each other at faster than the speed of light, but this is only an observation and not an actual reality.
Probably the machine that can go at the speed of light that was invented in 2012.
Most of the space ships on Star Trek are powerd by Dilithium a very common substance. The ships are able to move at sub-light speeds or warp(the speed of light and faster). They are powerd by the warp core and the thrusters.
i would have thought it was conciderably smaller because the space ships crosed it(at light speed) in minutes. if you tryed to cross our galaxy at light speed it would take billions of years.
No, the speed of light was not invented - it's a natural phenomenon. Albert Einstein discovered the equation E=mc2. This tells us that if an object was to randomly turn into energy, the amount of energy would be equal to the objects mass multiplied by the speed of light twice.

The Portuguese invented the three-masted ship in the 1400's. These type of ships replaced the ships that had an oared galley. Three-masted ships were easier to steer.
Ships were invented prior to written records. Thus, we do not know who invented them. Ships were useful to the Greeks because they allowed travel to various islands and they permitted trade, which would have been far more arduous over land.
Is what the speed of light or light speed.ANSWER300,000 km/s
