Most gecko species can regenerate a new tail if lost or eaten, although there are some species of gecko that will not grow another. A crested gecko is an exaple of a gecko that will not grow another tail.
A gecko is not able to grow back an arm or leg although, most gecko species are able to re generate a new tail. When a tail has grown back, it will look miss-shaped from the first one and generally will be stubby.
Geckos have the ability to re generate their tails, but they cannot bring back a limb. A gecko with deformities can make a great house pet but i would not recommend breeding this animal as it can cause more stress considering its disability.
It depends on what type of lizard. Geckos can regrow tails. It's like how our hair grows.
i' m not sure because i found a gecko in my garage today and it did not have back legs so we put him in the garden and hopefully he will be fine.
i was really sad:(
They can't.
yes they can i have seen one grow them back
no, they can regenerate their tails though
Yes, except crested geckos.
Yes, Might have dif. Times for it but at one point they do all grow back.
yes they do, these are some of the geckos adaptations:they grow their tails backwhen they shed their skin they eat it!they are very fast runners!
Geckos have detachable tails.
infinity!
they grow back because lizards reproduce asexually
you tell me
No
Geckos have the ability to vocalize as loose their tails as a defence of getting away.
When geckos are being chased and a predator catches it tail and tries to catch it that way the predator will pull off the tail and the gecko will get before the predator notices and later the geckos grow their tails back
Tadpole's tails do not fall off by themselves, but they can be bitten off. I do not know if their tails grow back. I am trying to figure that out right now because 4 of my tadpole's tails got bitten off.
No
Yes, If lost a African fat tail will re generate a new tail, although it may look different from the original, it still provides the same purposes.
