I think you are thinking of Lorazepam, which is Ativan. Loratadine is not Lorazepam. It's Claritin. It's an allergy medication. Generally it's over the counter. Benzodiazepines are things like Valium, Klonopin, Xanax. Loratadine is totally different.

They could if the test was looking for loratidine (aka Claritin). Generally this drug is not tested for because it is considered to have little "street" value. (It won't give you a buzz and is unlikely to be abused.)

Yes it can cause a false positive for meth. There are only a few antibiotics that can cause a false positive for THC and they are rarely prescribed.
