Can you mix Oxycontin with hydrocodone?

cocaine is an upper,

vicodin is an opiate, which is a downer.

depending on dosages, it could be heavy on your

heart.

i would not suggest it,

that's the combo they call a speed ball,

which kills more people due to the contradictive

ingredients, your heart doesnt know which way to roll,

and it can result in heart attack, or cardiac arrest.

if you took vicodin, lortab, norco, (which are all hydrocodone)

and waited 4-5 hours at least, you should be in the clear for

cocaine,

and

if you take cocaine before hydrocodone,

i would wait at least two hours

and make sure you always eat something at the same time

as taking vicodin, lortab, or norco's.

Since Hydrocodone seems like a downer, if it has to fit into one of the two general categories (upper or downer), Im guessing it wouldn't be good to mix with Cocaine (certainly an upper). hydrocodone is a nerve drug wich effect the pain in your system and cocane is a stimulte which does not effect that when both use together it will not effect each function since one block pain in your nerves system and the other effects your your brain and hart which is cocane, the effect are diffrent, so taking one number 10-320 mg and snorting a line of cocane will not off set each other since they produce diffrent brain fucnction and nerve function but it could be deadly if you take to many pills with cocane, so if you use this hydrocodine take only one pill at #10-320 mg and no more to come down ,anymore could cause a reaction of a overdose and lead to death depending on the person weigh and how much drugs have been taken by that person. but to say hydrocodone and cocane are a downer and the other is a upper is wrong one is use for the nerves system which block pain from reaching your brain and the other is a stemulte that effect your brain with a feeling of uphroie.

Yes. I've been on Concerta for about a month now and my doctor prescribed me with hydrocodone/acetaminophen for pain caused by removal of my wisdom teeth knowing that I was on it. I haven't had any unusual side effects. Just a little tired and light headed.

I mix Soma and hydrocodone every day, with no ill effects, but I'm accustomed to doing this and have a level of pain that makes it necessary.

I have prescriptions for both drugs and the pharmacy fills them at the same time, so obviously they can be taken in combination. But I'm sure you should consult your doctor about it. I myself am not a doctor, just a person with chronic pain that's helped by taking these two drugs in combination.

If either of these meds normally makes you very drowsy or nauseated, then you probably shouldn't mix them. Also I recommend that you do not take a very high dosage of either drug, if you combine them.

Your question makes it sound as though you are not obtaining these drugs by prescription, or else you'd already know the answer. Please don't combine these two drugs for recreational purposes. People who do that are risking their lives and are also making it hard to get prescriptions for these drugs, for those of us who really need them. You may be getting kicks and grins by taking these drugs recreational, but for me they are the difference between being able to function or being bedridden.

Why do or would you assume something like this...even if they are buying them off the streets so what...who are we to point a finger at anybody. I know people who get legal methadone and Lortab and still buy off the streets (just a phrase, they buy them from someone they have known for years) but still they buy and the reason is if they run out they can't get a refill until the 30 day limit has been reached so if they need to take extra then let them buy extra..probably cheaper, as I know Oxycontin cost my mother $300 for just 60 20mg pills and her humana prescription card won't cover it. That's $5 bucks a pill. However, generic cost $16 dollars but it is not the extended release as generic doesn't have oxycodone ER only IR...Don't be so high and almighty on here, people are looking for anwers whatever the reason may be..

yes. I am on 110mg methadone a day and was prescribed loratab 7.5 after having carpal tunnel surgery and was told to take the lortabs 1 to 2 every 6 hrs for breakthrough pain.

Oxycontin and hydrocodone compete for the same opiate receptor site. So if you do this one will cancel the (desired?) effects of the other. Choose...one...NOT BOTH!
