Put vinegar on the spots that he has used for the potty that you don't wont him to. Then when he has to go to the bathroom and you can tell; put him on the place where you want him to go. When he goes in the right place, praise him for doing the right thing and when he goes in the wrong spot say "no" loudly then leave him alone and don't praise him. Then he will soon learn that when he uses the bathroom in that certain spot it is good and when he goes somewhere else it is bad.
