Some pens can be taken apart and new ink cartridges can be put in. They are few and far between. Most pens are disposable nowadays. Use it once and throw them away in the recycling bin. Most plastics are recyclable.

∙ 14y agoIt usually says on the package if it may be recycled, but if there is nothing on being recycled, don't. Better be safe then sorry. :)
