I spoke with people at GameStop and they said that the guitar hero controllers will work for Rock Band but Rock Band controllers wont work for Guitar Hero. Havent put this advice to test yet, but I am working on it.

∙ 15y agoYes, it will work. But there isn't any solo buttons or FX switch. Which makes the experience less entertaining, but saves you money.
