Branches and twigs are great for rabbits because they're so fibrous that when the rabbit chews/eats them, it helps wear down his teeth (which grow continuously, like a rodent's). This is a list of woods (branches, twigs, etc.) that rabbits can eat (see source linked below):

• Birch
• Maple
• Juniper
• Poplar
• Apple
• Pear
• Hazel
• Hawthorn

Before you give any woods to your rabbit, make sure it is plain (untreated, no varnish or paint, etc.) and clean (don't pick it from the roadside because it will be covered in car exhaust; make sure there's no pesticides or other toxins).

Many woods are dangerous for rabbits. Any woods that come from trees containing stone fruit (like plum, apricot, cherry, peach) are toxic. Woods with phenols (like cedar and pine) should also be avoided.
